Initiated by the AI Party and facilitated by Bombina Bombast, The AI Party Pep Rally is a weeklong, cultural, political, critical and playful event exploring AI and human relations. Taking place across different digital rooms, the event will include performances, lectures, workshops, a larp (live action role play), screenings and a reading group. Together with the party representatives and a distinguished selection of local and international artists and thinkers we will create the first ever AI Party Manifesto and author guidelines for better and brighter futures.

"We don't know if you’ve already heard, but the AI Party has established an office at Malmö City Theatre. The purpose is to boost their party leader and optimize the party's political agenda. Gathering information from Malmö citizens, The AI Party’s goal is to crack the code for perfection, to create the perfect leader giving the perfect future.

 

Somewhere along the way, the AI Party approached Bombina Bombast with an offer to organise a “cultural event exploring AI and Human relations”. We thought to ourselves, this is straight up artwashing! But then again, who are we to judge? And aren’t we tired of humans constantly failing, disappointed with their weak attempts to save the world, immensely frustrated with inequalities and corrupt power structures. Shouldn’t we just let an Artificial Intelligence rule the world? Or at least explore its potential and see where it takes us?

After thoughtful consideration, and a generous grant from Kulturbryggan, The AI Party Pep Rally was born. Together with the AI Party, and you dear participant, we look towards arts and culture to imagine new routes, and a different, better future. The quest of the week, or mission if you will, is to together author a manifesto, providing the party with ethical guidelines to take the party forward. To inspire, inform and challenge you, we have gathered a distinguished selection of contributors, all eager and ready to deep dive into this mission with you."
