MISS JULIE (DOGS, LILACS AND SISKINS HAVE FEELINGS TOO), 2011

Julie and Jean express their winding feelings in Strindberg's classic. In Bombina Bombast's adaption other characters get a say: the dog Diana who becomes pregnant with the pug from the gatehouse and is forced to get an abortion, the poor lilac that is broken off from her life-giving twig and the siskin Serine who is beheaded without a trial. In this magical performance, these characters are given voice and body. It will be a memorable evening with live animals, newly written live music and sausage. Premiere a week before Stockholms stadsteater’s staging of Miss Julie.
